James Mumford, proprietor of Mumford Guitars has over twenty years professional experience in providing repairs to stringed instruments, both electric and acoustic, valve amplifiers and analogue effect units as well as other stringed instruments

James has been involved in Musical Instrument & Electronics repairs since the early 90's.
Initially starting out as a hobby in 1990, music instrument and amp repair became a part time job in conjunction with working in professional audio during the late 90's.
The first fully operational workshop was setup in Carlton 1996.
James started repairing guitars full time in 2001.
 
Mumford Guitars has had several workshop locations over the years in
Carlton, Preston, Warrnambool and in now located in Wodonga in Victoria's North East.
